Epic Inspiration: Real Life Good Guys

For the next installment to my Epic Inspiration posts I’ve decided to create a new section to the site: “Epic Good Guys“.

I’ll include the what I have this far in today’s post, but stay tuned for more.

There comes a time in everyone’s life when they look at the world and wonder: “where are the good guys?” Most of us come to realize that it isn’t that simple, that the line between good and evil is blurry at best. After all, only Sith deal in absolutes.

With that said, there exist flawed human heroes who have taken on the role of the good guy. I keep track of those I have come across in my journeys so that people who feel called to the role of the good guy can join those of their ilk.

There are only three requirements for team members;1. Love- Each person strives to do this for the love of the people and no one is paid. They still belong to their parent organizations.

2. Ability to read and write – due to the medical, documentation and other skills needed, literacy in at least one language is required.

3. Physical and moral courage- they have to have the physical strength and endurance to be able to walk to crisis areas, and the moral courage to be with people under attack and to stand with them if they cannot flee.
